• Hi everyone !

I’m working on a wordpress installation where we will have 20-40 authors. It’s important for us that the “Edit post” view from the admin side is as simple as possible.

With WordPress, the user can move the blocks around by drag&dropping them. Is there a way to lock these blocks ?

My problem is also that if I create a new post, arrange the boxes around, and publish, then the changes on the box arrangement is not saved… is that normal ?

Is there a documentation about this customizable user interface ?

I am using the plug-in “More Fields”, maybe that has an influence since I’ve customized that page with that plug-in.

    Thanks for any input 🙂

    Jonathan

  • Disable ‘More Fields’ and see what happens. The order of those draggable boxes does save for me, so something is interfering with things.
