   Hello,

   I'm trying to create a new weblog account in windows live writer, after setting out my url, username and password, it just hangs out while trying to detect blog settings.

   I'm using wordpress 2.8.4 and disabled all plugins, also I made sure that XML-RPC and Atom publishing protocol are enabled.

   ill be honest and say I dont know if it makes a difference, but this isnt in your header:

   <link rel="EditURI" type="application/rsd+xml" title="RSD" href="http://http://www.datatrv.net/xmlrpc.php?rsd" />

   I **think** you need to have that in your header.

   change to the default theme, and see if it works.
