   Hello guys,

   I started to create a template from scratch, and then I did it and everything was right on the part of xhtml + css with nothing to do with wordpress began to transform it into template ...

   I created the files footer, header, sidebar, and index to start .. after I created the sidebar1.php, I created the 404.php, the page.php, single.php and archive.php the ...

   However, my CSS does not work perfectly well in the INDEX. On other pages it appears to have to appear.

   In the index he appears a kind of padding of 16px on top body. But there's none in my CSS ... so that other pages with the same style.css work perfectly well!

   And that has mangled in IE view of life ... in FF until there's a lot of trouble, but in IE ¬ ¬

   I started doing my template based on the default codes.

   Does anyone have any idea what can be?

   If English is not understandable, sorry, I'm not good to write with this language and use online translators.

   Thanks for the help, I could already solve the problem. The header.php was with a different encoding of other files. Do not know why it only affected the index, but could solve only by changing it. Abraços.
