Please give me some guidance on how to login to the admin panel. My site is up-- not crashed but when I go to http://www.conifer-homes-for-sale.com/wp-admin my screen goes white and I can not proceed.
No new posts--nothing.
I was using postie to email posts but that has stopped as well. I have not changed any ftp settings or moved any files.

It doesn't look like a password thing though. The entire login box is gone.

oops, didn't read the whole thing.
You might want to delete and re-upload the index.php file of the "wp-admin" folder.
That could work.. Other wise you could even try re-uploading the whole wp-admin folder, but it could make your website final.. I'm not too sure if there's specific information saved in those files.

Try this,
//conifer-homes-for-sale.com/wp-login.php
and if it looks like it logged in, but goes blank, try this-
//conifer-homes-for-sale.com/wp-admin/options-general.php
That might get you in with limited mobility, or might do nothing at all.
where would I get the index.php to upload it?
You can download all versions of wordpress here (assuming you are still using 2.8.3, select that version) and then just extract the files you want to re-upload.
