Was my site hacked or maybe a virus via theme download? (3 posts)

Not sure if my site was hacked or if i downloaded a virus when downloading a theme file (which after downloading, did not appear in my themes area).

Anyways, when i go into Page - Edit, via the dashboard, I get a blank screen.

    Here's a screenshot: http://www.wordpressonthego.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/wotg-screenshot.jpg

If my site was hacked, what do i do?

If it was a virus that i downloaded, thinking it was a legit theme file, how do i fix that?

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - reading http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279132?

    - disabling Google Gears if you have that running/installed within Firefox?

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I guess it was an old plugin that for whatever reason decided to cause problems.

    Thanks again!
