   Hello,
   I am new to wp and I want to create a web site and I dont have mysql.
   I downloaded wp2.8.4 and unzipped the folder.
   please let me know how to proceed.

   you MUST have a mysql database
   surely your host supplies this?

   You don't need to know coding at all, you can create very easily the MySQL database from cPanel.
