   I installed wordpress latest version along with qtranslate plugin. Everything works fine until i tried using russian language with cirilic letters. The first time i want to apply changes in the settings i get fatal error. Then i tried to use latin letters in the settings area but same error occurs when i try to publish the post using cirilic letters. After first error wordpress becomes unaccessible and the only thing i can do is to delete db tables and reinstall wp.

   I resolved my issue by defining in the wp-config.php mySQL connection collation to utf8_general_ci. The same setting must be selected in the myphp admin for db collation.
