   I am new to WordPress and have managed to find helpful instructions to everything to create the site except for getting the Blog URL to point to the WordPress URL (I even tried using the Codex instructions on this; they did not work for me). Currently, "/Wordpress" has to be added at the end of our main domain address to view our site. For example, if our domain is abcd.com, anyone who wants to access our website can't just type "www.abcd.com", they have to type in "www.abcd.com/wordpress". How do I get "www.abcd.com" to automatically forward to "www.abcd.com/wordpress"? Our site is hosted with GoDaddy.

   I had already tried http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
   but it did not fix this issue for me. I will try http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site. I have not referred to that one yet.

   I got it to work; it turns out the http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory is the one I needed, but I had to clear the cookies in my browser before the site would load using the new blog URL.
