   I've seen some similar posts but nothing exactly the same, and no actual resolution. I'm getting this error:

   Notice: WP HTTP API Web Request failed: Operation timed out after 10000 milliseconds with 0 bytes received in /home/***stars*for*security***/wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/sitemap-core.php on line 2304
   
   Notice: Failed to ping Ask.com: in /home/***stars*for*security***/wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/sitemap-core.php on line 2221

   The sitemap is not being generated properly. Unticking the 'notify ask.com' option and re-running the build still shows the "The last run didn't finish! Maybe you can raise the memory or time limit for PHP scripts." message on the options page, but no errors or warnings in the debug output.

   I've tried deactivating various other plugins, nothing has helped. Please advise...
