wordpressfanI'm planning a site that uses WordPress as its base and bbpress as its forums. I want to offer extensive profiles, but wonder if I need to use buddypress just for one feature. How extensive (and extendable) are WordPress' own user profiles? (last I checked it was simply name, e-mail and a short bio.) I want a searchable directory of profiles.
