   This looks really excellent, but how much of a memory churn is it? I'm trying to be really selective about how many plugins I've got. If I only activate this from time to time, will it still churn at all if deactivated?

   It doesn't use a lot of memory. It does use some disk space to save the searches, but not much compared to the average blog.

   If you reset the statistics before deactivating then it won't use up any memory and pretty much no disk space.
