   Fresh install of newest wordpress. Without any plugins, or anything of the sort.

   When you paste flash/video/audio into a page, all it does is paste the file name. Same problem when you try to view the individual "medium" (singular of media?). The actual files uploaded fine and are viewable by them selves.

   Serevr: arch linux x86, apache 2.2.13, php 5.3.0, mysql 5.1.37.
   Viewing: Sidux (debian sid) amd64 with Swiftweasel 3.5 (ff mod) and midori. Flash is 10.0 r32 (according to about:plugins).

   I briefly used wordpress before at v2.0, but haven't really touched it since, so my knowledge is lacking.

   WP doesn't include video or audio players by default.
