Looking for a Reliable WP Ecommerce Plugin

    Hi,

    So I finally gave in and purchased the Shopp plugin – shopplugin.net but unfortunately it’s the worst product ever. Nothing seems to work at all.

    I need some recommendations for a good reliable wordpress ecommerce plugin that will work out the box without fail.

    I know of WP-Ecommerce, any other good ones out there?

    Hi,

    What is so bad about it? I am looking for one myself and I just almost bought shopp. I think wp-e-commerce is pretty good, but have not tried any other ones yet.

    Hey,

    Shopp plugin is just completely annoying to use. The landing page has 3 rows; new product, best seller and sale page and it only shows 3 products max. You have to tweak the template files to create a custom landing page for all your categories to show all the products, again annoying.

    It doesn’t work great outside the box because it means we have to tweak the themes to show the products.

    I think I’ll be making a move to wp-ecommerce definitely, seems more robust and un-complicated.

    I don’t know exactly what you’re selling, but I’m doing a subscription website. Your Members works great, and the support is terrific. It does handle payments. I believe one of the developers has a stand-alone ecommerce plugin.
