I installed Wysi-Wordpress after weeks of careful consideration. I have tried previous release of Wysi-Wordpress packaged with HTMLlite and FCK-editor.

The current plugin looks better than the previous release but I have one problem: the buttons keep refreshing when I try to type. The buttons also refresh when I mouseover them.

I think this cause too much of a server load that my server stop respnding and crashed. I have no choice but to disable the plugin.

My website is hosted on linux server and I have WordPress Admin Interface plugin installed. Is there anything that interfere with the editor?

Try disabling the Admin interface plugin. It may be interfering with WYSI-WordPress.

Tried disabling the Admin Interface plugin and re-enable the WYSI-Wordpress. The refreshing problem still exist.

The browser keep downloading the icons images whenever I mouseover the icons or click on the textarea. When I type, the rows icons will start refreshing. It is scary as seconds later, my server will stop resonding.

I am afraid that this will waste my bandwidth.

Take a look at the screen shots: http://www.danielck.net/temp/wysi-problems.jpg

did any users experience this problem?

I haven’t seen anyone else report that, but it may be a good idea to stop using that plugin.
