I want to have categories and tags as part of the menu I created with the WP Menu Creator. I have put "cat_ID=#" or "tag_ID=#" in the URL value field. Everything shows on the site, it evens picks up the CSS of the theme Im using (Mimbo), but when I hover on the menu items, the link in the adress bar shows the current page URL. And when I click, of course, the link goes nowhere (ie, refreshes the page that is currently displayed). Am I Missing something?

yeah it isn't a feature available yet but it will be in our next release. For now all it will show is page or post id
There is also going to be more features added in terms of integration and bridging as there are requests for this.
