3.1.1 Does Not Show Reading for Static Pages

    Can anyone help me, I am trying to make a static page on my sit at http://www.xtremeperformance.org, I have looked at all of the Utube Videos and they show options-reading and when I go to reading and my screen looks totally different from theirs and I can’t do the static page. Does anyone know what what the problem is? Pugins etc????Thanks for your help!

    Have you created any static Pages yet?

    No I have not my site is http://www.xtremeperformance.org. I have been looking at the video’s and I have an idea but the hardware is not there when you go to reading. There is something there, but not the right format to do the static page if that makes sense.

    Try creating at least one Static Page before you attempt to change your settings.

    Go to Dashboards -> Pages -> Add New Page

    Create and save a Page.

    Then see if you can set your Front Page to a static Page via Dashboard -> Reading -> Settings.

    Thats it the reading settings do not show up to do a static page I do not know what is wrong. I do not even see the page that says ” Hello Word”

    “Hello World” is not a Page. It is a Post.

    Did you try creating a Static Page, via Dashboard -> Pages -> Add New Page?

    WOW I did that and now it shows the right reading stats when I go there, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Anymore great tips!!
