   I was able to get the upgrade to work (mostly) but I have a question.
   I tried to use the new config file with those Authentication Unique Keys during some failed install attempts.

   I finally got the blog upgraded; in part by putting back the old config.php file I first installed more than two years ago.

   Do I want to add those Authentication keys at some point? How?

   Visit http://api.wordpress.org/secret-key/1.1/ and copy and paste those lines into your wp-config.php file.
