wordpress issue...database?? (4 posts)

I created a wordpress blog (elitelawngarden.com). If you go to the blog you'll see it's the default template.

The problem is that when I go through all of the steps and get to the part where I install the actual blog (fill out form with the blogs name and my email as i've done with other blogs) i get sent to a blank screen and never get an email with the login code.

I deleted all my files in the phpadmin database and before that tried to create a user...but wordpress out smarted me and said there was some kind of error (forget the exact wording). Once I deleted everything I did the '5 minute install' again and once again never received the confirmation email.

Please help. My hosting company said its a wordpress issue. Actually here is the email they sent:

This seems like a wordpress issue versus our setup. Have you tried their support or forum?

Also, can you go through the manual setup? Does that work?

    I have a HELM account with reliablesite.net.

Any help or advice in the right direction would be great. Thanks!

Seen that kind of problem on some hosts...usually with a Windows type plan.

If WordPress is getting installed and you aren't getting the email, then use the technique here to reset your password.

i tried to reset the password via database, but the issue is that i'm not resetting it, rather, i'm not getting one established. When I create from scratch via msql database, it does not work.

Any more ideas? I think my hosting company hates me now or something because they won't fix the problem. Not sure what can be done without their help to get a login established.

    Any suggestions?????

But I don't get to the next image, as below shows (and i've done it correctly a few times before).
