   Hello All,

   I uploaded the wordpress folder on to my server and went to wordpress/wp-admin/install.php.

   Entered my e-mail and blog name then clicked "Install Wordpress." It took me to /wordpress/wp-admin/install.php?step=2 but it was simply a white screen. Nothing. Any ideas or help?

   1) did you uploaded all the files properly?
   2) Is your database server running properly ?
   3) If this is ok, empty the database and try again..

   I think the server has hung at step 2
   it may be as simple as fixing the site url
   http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL
