    I’m my blog at the beggining of each comment I’ve got the image of a little “speak bubble”. I’ve seen on some sites with this same icon that when the author of the post writes his/her comments, appears a different icon, instead of the bubble that shows to the visitor’s comments. How can I do this? Oh, and this is NOT Gravatar! 🙂
    Thanks!

    I think they’re talking about how you can have your own comment highlited a different color when you post a comment. Same concept but a different icon appears. Shouldn’t need gravatar or favatar to do that though.

    Just to double check, are you looking for something like this? http://www.chrisjdavis.org/2005/02/02/665/#comment-8141

    In that post, Chris is using Gravatars, and some of his own code to allow users to color their comments once they read a certain number of comments.

    Doing some research, I found out it’s a plugin/code trick called autor highlight that does such effect… The problem is, they all teach you to highlight your own comment, but I’d like to have a differrent highlight for the visitors comments. Let me explain:
    – All the comments written by my visitors have a yellow background;
    – I set my comments to have a pink background, using the Scripty Goddess trick (http://www.scriptygoddess.com/archives/2004/06/21/comment-highlighting-based-on-author/);
    – But when I load the comments, the one I’ve written has a yellow cell (the default one) and then, inside it, a pink cell.
    How can I separate the author highlight from the other comments highlight? Also, I’d like to have a different icon for myself, and use another one to the visitors…
