I not getting trackbacks and pingbacks (3 posts)

    Since the upgade to 2.8 I not getting trackbacks and pingbacks in my blog.

    I read http://wordpress.org/support/topic/222533?replies=11#post-1179399 but the code <?php if ( !empty($comments_by_type['pings']) ) : ?> not be in my theme.
