   I tried to add this widget in Wordpress 2.8.4 Somehow it is not saved in the sidebar. I did see that this plugin is only supported until Wordpress 2.7. Two questions:
   1/Author are you going to upgrade the plugin?
   2/Do others here have positive experiences with this plugin and Wordpress 2.8.x

   Every time I add the widget to a sidebar and save it, it disappears on reloading the page or after I checked if it appeared on the front side. I do not get any PHP or other errors in my error log?!!

   @Rhand - I have reved this to support WordPress 2.8.

   Same problem with Simple image link 2.2 and wordpress 2.8.4...
   any news?

   @ martynalandavis i will test it again as soon as I have time. I did see a comment by paolo1978 here saying it does not work with 2.8.4...
