   Word Press installation instructions assumes we are all computer nerds. I am asked to put the 'hostname' of my database in the config.file. Where do I get the 'hostname' from and what syntax do I use? I tried 'Localhost' as shown in my php admin window but this does not work.
   Can the makers of Word Press put some syntax examples in the help file and tell users how to identify the 'hostname'?

   If it is not "localhost", your host has to tell you what it is.

   Thanks. The issue was not the hostname but the fact that I didn't know other names were case sensitive.
   I now have the control panel but can't upload themes.... this is going to be one very hard and long process...

   File permissions most likely, but I'd just use FTP to add themes.
