   Today I realized that I was unable to post a comment on my blog and was told that the file wp-comments-post.php does not exist. But I can see it on my server. The problem is, the chmod abilities have somehow become 000, so I have lost the ability to read, write, and execute the file.

   I realized that the same had happened to many other files. When I try to change the file permissions, it says "Permission Denied."

   What my site hacked? I'm using the most recent version of Wordpress.

   I'm not sure how you are attempting to change your file permissions, so can't explain why it is failing.

   This is something you should be discussing with your web host. They are the only ones who can help you.
