   Checking my profile on this site was how I could quickly tell if someone replied to any post or answer to post I had made on this site.

   Now I have no way of telling without opening each post.

   Am I missing some setting?

   I liked the old one more than the new profile page, especially because of the reason kmessinger mentiones.

   Why was it changed, and can't we go back?

   If you click on "Member" you see what you are used to seeing.
