WordPress Mascot contest

I didn’t know where to post this message, so I’ve decided to publish it here, Sorry for any inconvenience

We, the spanish WordPress community, are promoting a contest to achieve a WordPress mascot as other open source software have. We deserve a mascot as good, at least, as Tux or Drupalicon, isn’t it?

The idea is to create a mascot, explain why it can define WordPress and publish a post linking to the site that has promote the contest. After a month, or so, a new post will be published with all candidates in order the community to vote the WordPress Mascot.
