I signed up for Godaddy and downloaded wordpress through there. I created a site and sign in with my username and password. When I try to post on anyone else's site (comment / trackback) it prompts me to sign into wordpress. I use that same sign in i have been using and it says it doesnt exist and prompts me to register it. I have contacted godaddy and they told me it had to be a WP issue. I have searched a million places for an answer but all take me to the .com side and they all tell me that the problem is a .org issue.

Unless they allow anonymous comments, I think you probably need to have an account on their site in order to post. The user name and password for your wordpress site has nothing to do with my wordpress site, so in order to post on my site, or anyone elses', you have to register and become a user.
