Hi there,
I installed and activated the GA plugin. Configured the settings with my GA account number.
I assumed that the plugin will automatically add the tracking code script to the footer as it states.
Saved settings but when I go to my footer.php page I dont see it.
Plus when I view source in my browser while visiting my site I dont see the tracking code.
Why not? What have I missed?? Please let me know as my site went live today!
Thanks
A
I am not using this for my blog but I just tested this plugin on my test blog locally and it works fine. Make sure that you have entered correct account ID in "Analytics Account ID:" field.

amirbkhan, I'm having exactly the same problem.
I'll add the code manually, but if you find a solution please let me know.
I'n using WordPress 2.84 with the Versión 3.2.2 of GA for WordPress.
Regards,
Rodrigo

actually, I decided to disable this plugin and use 'Ultimate Google Analytics' plugin instead.
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ultimate-google-analytics/
worked like a charm. the javascript is added to the header in this case.
cheers
