It seems that McAfee is reporting postratings-js-packed.js as a trojan in version 1.40 which may need to be looked at especially for those who are using that version on their site using 2.7.1 WP since it is also reporting it as a trojan when visiting the site.
JS/Exploit-Packed.c.gen (Trojan) Location: \wp-postratings\postratings-js-packed.js

Seems to be a false positive with McAfee which was submitted to them and should be updated in the latest release 5729 DAT.

I just downloaded and scanned the most recent version of WP-PostRatings (1.5) with McAfee (updated Sept 2nd, 13:11 PST) and it shows clean.
Since I don't have the older version, I cannot test it. My best suggestion would be to keep your WP install up to date (as much as possible).
Did you post something on Lester Chan's (the developer's) support forum: http://forums.lesterchan.net/index.php/board,17.0.html yet?
update: never mind :)
