• Hi All

I’m very new to WP and wondering if the following is possible: I’ve got a top level section of my site called About, but it actually just divides in to 2 sub-sections, Biography and Discography. You’d never go to http://www.sitename/about/ – only ever to http://www.sitename/about/biography/ or http://www.sitename/about/discography/. (I’m using the “WP No Category Base” plugin to hide the /category/ part of the URLs.)

Now, I want Biography to be a Page, but the Discography to be a Category page, leading to separate entries for each album (eg. http://www.sitename/about/discography/myalbum/).

So I set up a page called About with a subpage called Biography, and also a category called About with a subcategory called Discography, but obviously when I go to /about/discography/, it looks first to the About page and then can’t find any subpages called Discography so shows the “no posts found” error.

Obviously I could just leave out “/about/” from the URLs, but I’d like it to be there if possible, as it would reflect the structure of the navigation. Is there a way to do this? I feel like I’m probably missing something obvious here but have searched quite a bit and can’t seem to find a way to do it…

Thanks in advance for any help.
