   I'm new . . . so I don't even KNOW all my problems, yet.
   BUT (1) the time is incorrect and (2) I can't get the VISUAL editor to work right. It uses HTML and doesn't have the helpful menu bar on top. (3) Finally, how do I get dashboard from the front page? I've been using "edit entry"

   I am having the same problem with the Visual Editor. When I create a new post, the visual editor text box will not accept the cursor. No way to type there. When I select the HTML page I can input.

   Also, the kitchen sink ribbon is not displaying.

   I also cannot click the icons above the editor ribbon (the insert photo, audio, etc. icons).

   I had the problem with the icons being inactive in version 2.7, but only for Contributors - the Editors and Admins could use them perfectly. Now, no one can.

   My understanding is that there's a HUGE problem with VISUAL for most 2.8 users. I got "lucky" -- a friend corrected certain files BUT, unfortunately, I can't tell you how he did it.

   So the major value of my note is to suggest you find someone who can fix the files.
