Hey Guy's,
I have installed the podcasting plugin on our new site and I am confused about something. The site that I am upgrading used podpress and when we wanted to upload a new sermon, we simply ftp'd it to a special folder and then created a new post within wordpress and hit the "add media" button. In the section where you add the location, we had a drop down box that enabled us to pick from the files that we had ftp'd. I have no clue how this was possible because I have tried both the podpress and podcasting plugins and neither are doing this.
Can someone tell me how and what I must tweak to get this to happen again? I prefer the podcasting plugin as it works perfectly with my WP version 2.8.

Ok, my question is specific to the podcasting plugin. I am wanting to ftp the sermons to a specific folder and then as I am writing my post, click a drop down and select the file of choice.
Is this possible?

Ok, I'm going to try again.
Is there a way that I can set my "podcasting" plugin to give me a drop down box that shows all files within a given folder or am I doomed to have to ask my users to enter the url every time?

I don't believe the podcasting plugin supports selecting files.
The Blubrry PowerPress plugin indirectly supports this same behavior that was in PodPress. In PowerPress you need to enter the Media URL (same as PodPress) in your PowerPress settings, then when you create a new episode, just enter the file name (without the media URL) into the Media URL box.
I can't speak for the podcasting plugin, but the option to allow users to specify a directory was not copied over to PowerPress because it was a large source of confusion for most users.
