   I installed WordPress on my friend's website in a subfolder (/wordpress) and want to move it to the main folder, replacing the current website. (In other words, to replace the website in domain.com with the one in domain.com/wordpress/.) How do I do that?

   And all of the internal links on the blog have "/wordpress/" in them--will they update automatically once I move the site?

   You could either move WordPress:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress#Moving_WordPress_Within_Your_Site

   Or you could just leave it where it is and change it power the site root:

   http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
