I clicked on "archive" in the admin
section of our website, thinking that this
would safely back it up so that I could
easily retrieve it if I made a fatal
mistake will trying to update a blog thru
the dashboard.
Now I get an error page that says:
This blog has been archived or suspended.
I don't see how I can restore it easily.
There isn't an "archive" function in the basic WordPress installation, so I can only assume that this functionality is either from a plugin or your current theme. Try:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems.

It's not a plugin issue, it's WPMU Site Admin ability to mark a sub-blog as Archived - which you can un-Archive by clicking on same link again.
