Generating Thumbnails for Related Posts

Hi all,
my problem is, I have been using Yet Another Related Posts plugin. this plugin does not support displaying related posts with thumbnails by default. But after reading a post on buildinternet.com I’m now able to display related posts with thumbnails. actually not exactly thumbnails, as original images are fetched instead.

My site uses thimthumb script for generating thumbnails. how can i put those thumbnails in my related posts ?
