Please help...I have WP version 2.8.4 and Google XML Sitemap plugin version 3.1.4. My sitemap is being rejected by google (even when I try to submit it manually). The plugin error message says that there was a problem notifying google/yahoo/. I get these error messages in the plugin when I go to the Debug page:

    Have you tried:

    - deactivating all of your other plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

If it was working fine and stopped all of sudden, I suggest to contact your host to check whether they have changed any configuration on the server or not.

I never got this to work. I just manually submit the sitemap until I get a better plugin.

    Hi,

it says that the "operation was not permitted", so probably your host doesn't allow to make web requests from PHP.
