Forgive me if there is a plug-in or an answer out there to my question. I can't find it.
When commenting, I want to give visitors the option to register or post without doing so. Within WordPress, it seems it's an either/or thing. Is there a plug-in somewhere that would allow this to be an option?
Ideally, the visitor could check a box when posting a comment that allows them to register and be remembered for future visits.
See "settings" -> "discussion" in the dashboard and play with it a bit. You don't have to check "users must be registered and logged in to comment"
but under "settings" -> "general" you can check "anyone can register".

That's the setup I have right now. How do you take that and make a "remember me" option to the user? Perhaps you have to offer the "register" link rather than a simple yes or no checkbox? I would assume if that's the case, there's a tag of some sort for the registration link.
