   I am looking for an example of the "Simple Archive Generator" plug-in in actual use.

   I have read and re-read the "Simple Archive Generator" plug-in description and I am not exactly sure if this plug-in creates an archive in the "main content" area of a page / post... Or, if it creates an archive in the "sidebar" of a page?

   It creates an archive on a page or post; anywhere you put the text "<!--- simple_archive -->" in your writings - this is then replaced with the archive... :-)
