Enough new features!

    Hi there,
    I am using WP since its first version. Before that I was using b2.
    I think enough with trying to make wordpress a mess with lots of unnecessary features. Even now when you make a search in the forums there are people which does not know what is this loop, but they need more and more and more new shiny features.

    I hate upgrading my weblogs every single week.!

    You can do almost everything with wordpress now – weblog, photolog, news portal, e-commerce solutions, wiki, catalogue and etc etc etc. What else do you want your wordpress to do with default installation and no time reading?

    Did I say I hate upgrading every single week?! If this continues probably some months from now I had to upgrade every day?

    As long as there are no security issues, you don’t have to upgrade. Even if no new features were added, there would still be security updates. Bottom line….regardless of what (good) software you use, you will need to upgrade from time to time…and with the auto-upgrade feature now, it really doesn’t get much easier.
