   Hello all.

   I have installed locally so I may design and theme my blog before it goes live on the web.

   I know there are differences in wordpress.org and server installations.

   Are the differences in options and settings on a locally installed wp blog and one installed on a real server online?

   I just want to be sure I am configuring all the possible options for when it goes live.

   Well, the urls and the settings within wp_config.php are going to be different, but, beyond that, there's not much difference that I can recall.

   esmi, Thanks. I have realized that everything is pretty much the same no matter if it is local or hosted online.
