I have received the following instruction on my website’s WP Dashboard in Manage Plugins:
    ————————————————–
Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public

To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /home/lawren37/public_html/wp-content/backup-db
    ————————————————–

I got as far as going into wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager but found only htaccess.txt file. How do I comply with the instruction?\

I am afraid to update WP until a cure this matter up.

  • .htaccess file is generally invisible through FTP. Login to your contol panel and you should view that file. if you cant, contact your host..
