errno=40 – Too many levels of symbolic links

    Hi,
    I tried uploading some new images to my site and now keep getting this message:

    Warning: is_dir() [function.is-dir]: Stat failed for /nfs/c01/h03/mnt/7398/domains/mountaingraphics.com.au/html/wp-content/uploads/2009 (errno=40 – Too many levels of symbolic links) in /nfs/c01/h12/mnt/7398/domains/mountaingraphics.com.au/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1746

    I haven’t, to my knowledge, done anything different but am not a tech-head so am baffled. Does anyone know how to fix this and can explain it in layman’s terms?
