Changed Permalinks Killed Traffic

    I’ve changed the permalink structure a while ago and it basically killed traffic. I’ve updated the sitemap. What can be done to restore traffic?

    My website is indexed, but Google doesn’t properly index new posts. For example:

    When I type in google: yoursitename postname it doesn’t display a direct link to the post.

    How can I fix this?

    One thing can help you: TIME

    Google updates its index periodically. You need to wait for the necessary update, and everything will be OK again. You have added your sitemap to Google right?

    But I’m not sure for the traffic. That’s the side effect of changing permalink structure.
