  • So I’ve got one more major hurdle to clear before I can switch my site over from Nucleus CMS to WordPress. I need to make 301 redirects from my old urls to my fancy-pants WordPress urls.

Before I go out and reinvent the wheel, has anyone out there done this successfully? I tried searching the forums first, and google too, I swear it. In fact I’ve got this as my fall back plan:

    http://www.webmasterworld.com/apache/3752570.htm

But I was wondering if there’s another way that’s already set up.

    Any thoughts?

Posting my notes here in case anyone else was dealing with this..

I’m still going to use that method, however on inspecting my posts, I found that the old itemid’s didn’t match the new post Ids. I’ll probably keep the queries I used to fix that, but don’t want to post them here as they’re rather temperamental. Drop me a note if you need them (I’d rather not post them here as they’re quite temperamental)
