Hi, I have read on Google Webmaster Central that "don’t both return a 200 response code, but that one version redirects to the other."

I have check my URLs and both return 200 OK response:

    http://www.mywebsite.com/category/page101 = 200 OK
    http://www.mywebsite.com/category/page101/ = 200 OK

What I want to do now is 301 the other one like this:

    http://www.mywebsite.com/category/page101 = 200 OK
    http://www.mywebsite.com/category/page101/ = 301 Moved Permanently

Aside from the plugin permalink redirect, are there any ways to apply this, like in htaccess or something?

    Thanks

By the way, I still want to do the same on the category:

    http://www.mywebsite.com/category = 200 OK
    http://www.mywebsite.com/category/ = 301 Moved Permanently

    Thanks again.

I have tried permalink redirect but it seems not to work on my site. I still get 200 OK on both URLs.

    Please help.
