301 redirect but lose the index.php
-
Hi – I’m moving my wordpress site to a new domain – I’m doing this manually as there’s a few things I want to change as I move.
But – once I have my new wordpress site up and running, I want to set up a 301 redirect from my old site.
Only problem is – on my old site all my posts included the /index.php/ in the URL. e.g. mywebsite.com/index.php/mylatestpost/
On my new site I wont have the index.php in the URL but I want all posts on my old site to redirect to the same post on my new site.
So – mywebsite.com/index.php/mylatestpost/ redirects to:
mynewwebsite.com/mylatestpost
How do I achieve this?
Many thanks
