Ho - is there a widget that would create a dropdown menu for pages? I have many pages, that do not have to sit in the home page navigation, that I would like a user to access, but do not like the site tree type of menus that exist.
Any help?
Cheers

Thanks Ryans149.
The first link you posted look like what I need although I am not a php expert and my capabilities expend only to HTML within the posts and use of widgets.
I don't suppose anyone has written a plugin or widget that would allow me to put a widget in a sidebar that would produce a dropdown list of pages?
Cheers for this
Hi,
Also check with these plugins:

wp_jquery_dropdownmenu plugin for wordpress

Is there any way to code this functionality directly into the existing pages widget, like it is in the category widget? Rather than having to use template tags or an external plugin, I'd quite like to get WP doing this out of the box.
The code for a drop down is there, all thats required is to activate that code rather than the usual list with a checkbox in the settings for the pages widget.
