We have a blog with a few template pages and it works great. Nu we have a special event and for this we created a new page in Wordress. The layout must be totally something else then the theme from my blog. So header, footer, css and so on, with other words: I WANT A 2ND THEME FOR SOME PAGES.
I'm and experienced WP user but this question I can't find online and in the blogs / forums.
Is is posible to create a themplate file and tell this one to search for another theme?

you would create a page template and use that for special pages
then they are included as normal in structure

Thanks, I'm aware of this option but my current template uses the footer and header and so on.
I'm looking to a template switcher which is page based. No I'm using a plugin with the template name in the url. This is not a nice solution.
