   I am trying to install Wordpress locally on my Mac OS X (10.4)...I have been trying to several days now to just open install.php.

   I am now running MAMP to configure Apache and MySQL...however, when I go to http://localhost:8889/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php I receive this:

   Okay...i can't even post the code that it is spitting out...because this forum field keeps striping it out! BAH!!! 1 more time. Please help...
