[Plugin: Gengo] edit publish fields (2 posts)

    Hello,

    I installed gengo on wordpress v2.8, and it works as expected. Only when I want to edit the published-date (and the other fields in the published-box on the right), it doens't work. When I click on the edit-links, nothing happens. Seems like jquery doen't react anymore when this is isntalled?

    Any solutions?

    you should not use Gengo on WP 2.8 - it was broken eversince 2.3 came out. It was somewhat fixed to work with 2.5 but a lot of issues remained. I have used it on 2.7 with a lot of limitations and errors.

    I liked Gengo a lot but sadly, development of Gengo is dead...

    Maybe you should try another multilingual plugin:
    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/ - looks good and feature full

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/xili-language/ - looks very promising but still at an early stage of development

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/ - quite popular but I wouldn't recommend it because of the approach it uses
